Howdy! I'm Emily (Em), an artist and educator based in Bismarck, North Dakota. My work reflects a deep love for the hidden beauty of the plains and the quiet magic of life in the middle of nowhere. I find joy and meaning in floral, landscape, nature, animal, and abstract art, using acrylics as my primary medium, though I enjoy exploring with others. When I’m not creating, I’m teaching middle school students who struggle with reading the important skills they need to be successful readers.As a proud North Dakotan, I aim to highlight the everyday elegance often overlooked in our surroundings.
